Stonehenge.

One the most important archaeological sites in Britain and a constant source of fascination.

 

Salisbury Cathedral.

One of England’s most beautiful Cathedrals with the tallest spire in the country a Close described by writer Bill Bryson as "the single most beautiful structure in England and the Close around it the most beautiful space". It is also home to the best surviving original copy of Magna Carta.

 

Old Sarum 

 Just on the edge of the city the is the original site of the city with its Norman fort and the footprints of the first two cathedrals.

 

Salisbury Museum

  A wonderful museum in the close telling the history of the city and the area.

 

Wilton House 

Home of the Earl and Countess of Pembroke Wilton is a lovely stately home and garden only 15 minutes drive from us.

Avebury

Another henge but with a small village in it and you can walk right up to the stones!

 

Mottisfont

Beautiful grounds with a national collection of roses
