Covid 19 Update

Our commitment to you

We are delighted to once again be open and welcoming guests but the world has changed and our guests will want to know that we are doing everything we can to ensure their safety and hygiene in our home.

We have always considered cleanliness to be one of the most important parts of our business. As a result, we have changed many of our daily practices and services to minimize the risk of contracting and spreading coronavirus. All these rules will be constantly revised and subject to change, in accordance with government advice and “best practices”.

These changes include: -

We will only let one room at a time for a minimum stay of two nights unless the booking is for both rooms.

We ask our guests to respect social distancing. We encourage you to follow the most current government advice about social distancing and other measures aimed at stopping the transmission of covid-19.

Track and trace - If you have been in contact with other people with the virus or symptoms please  contact us so that we can modify your reservation and you must then follow the government guidelines for self-isolation. We also ask that you get in touch with us if you develop symptoms within 14 days following your stay.

Breakfast will still be served in the dining room or in the garden if fine and our full menu will be available.

Check-in and check-out will be done with “social distancing” in mind.

Check out: The payment for your stay will be made remotely by card and a receipt emailed to you.

Hand cleaning with hand sanitizer when arriving in our home is compulsory. Hand sanitizer will be available on the hall table downstairs and in your bedroom. We encourage you to use it when walking through shared areas of our home.

During this period of distancing precautions, and in order to respect your personal space we will not do a full room service during your stay. However, we will top up items on the hot drinks welcome tray in your room daily and empty the waste bins.

It is important to note that any guests displaying symptoms consistent with Covid - 19 will be requested to seek medical attention. Should you be advised to self-isolate, we will request that you check out immediately and return home. If you are unable to return home, you will be required to pay any additional costs that are incurred.

If any of our guests shows non-compliance with our policies and government directives, they will be asked to leave immediately and the full stay will be charged.
